If I don’t fully understand the entire purpose and end result, I am usually not willing to begin the journey. We all fall short to take steps until we know where God intends our final destination to be. Acts 16:5-10 reminds us that God can be trusted to continue to lead us on every leg of the journey. And he expects us to venture out in faith even before we have all the answers. This passage tells us that Paul went east, the door closed. They went north and it closed again. Heading south God called them to Macedonia. Then eventually God called them to both areas originally forbidden. How the Holy Spirit stopped them, we don’t know, or can’t be sure. But, what we can be sure of is this; God had a purpose for everything and closed doors are not ALWAYS opposition against us. Trust His lead and plan. Venture in faith. Pray for His guidance today. Let him be your GPS.
